Since you are going on a weekend, heading out on the all-important night out is a no brainer right? Luckily for you with all of the amazing bars, pubs and clubs around, you will be spoilt for choice on where to head. Exeter has something for everyone no matter what type of night out you are after. A quiet drink at a waterside pub, a wild night full of dancing in the club and everything in between.
Pubs
Whatever type of night out you are after a trip to a pub is always a great way to start it. And there are so many great ones to choose from. First up is The Old Firehouse, a pub that’s known for its amazing selection of ale and cider. Another that is similar with a great atmosphere and the perfect place to get all the lads in the mood to head out drinking is Black Horse. For a small pub with your your classic drinks inside along with a pool table and a TV showing sports games head to Hole In The Wall.
Another great pub to try out is Samuel Jones, sitting nicely on the waterfront you can enjoy some amazing drinks and views in this extremely popular alehouse. And if you don’t mind heading slightly out of the centre of Exeter we would recommend visiting Double Locks. An amazing pub that is perfect for during the summer months or even during the winter.

We would highly recommend heading to The Monkey Suit during the night out if you want to enjoy a relaxed and modern bar with a retro games room inside! They also have different live music throughout the week too! A bar that is considered a hidden gem of Exeter is Crocketts. With a wide selection of drinks and amazing mixologists behind the bar you and the lads can enjoy some amazing drinks during the evening.

All of the clubs are in close proximity to the city centre which means you will never be far from one to end your night in. First up is Timepiece Nightclub.
