Explore this idyllic Scottish city with the unique smartphone pub treasure hunt team building in Aberdeen. This addition is a super easy way to get everyone involved and working together, all you need to do is split your colleagues into smaller groups and get the competition flowing. The full treasure hunt is done on one app, and you have the freedom to start when you want, choose the pubs or bars you’re visiting and even take some group selfies to taunt the other groups on the app.

What’s Included

  • At the event, your group will be divided into smaller teams of 4-6 participants.
  • These teams will compete against each other to spark some healthy competition.
  • Head to various GPS locations with nearby bars
  • You choose the pub/bar within the area to visit to complete the challenges
  • Name your team & take selfies
  • Answer pub trivia questions
  • Unlock clues, puzzles and challenges
  • Live scoreboard makes it competitive and fun
  • Pub Trivia includes Sport, History, Geography, Science & Nature, Entertainment & General Knowledge
  • See game play map are here
  • Each participant will use their own smartphone to download the app and join in
  • Duration: approximately 2 hours
  • Add Custom Questions - Add up to 8 multiple choice questions. These can be about your brand, business, share fun facts, anything - Ask for price
  • Add Remote Host - Add a facilitator to give a remote briefing, support during the event and final wrap-up via video link - Ask for price

Extra Info:

The App is designed for Android phones and tablets, the iPhone and the iPad. It will not work on Windows phones or Blackberry.

There are also minimum versions of the operating system that are required for the App so if you can't see it in the store it probably means your phone isn't compatible.

The minimum device system requirements are as follows…

  • iOS Version 10.0 and above,
  • Android Version 4.4 and above,
  • Whatever phone or tablet you use, it will also need a data plan, a compass and have GPS activated.
  • A fully charged smartphone will be required per team.

Whilst the App will normally work on other unrecommended Android & iOS devices, there may be times where users experience issues with certain areas such as poor battery life, GPS signal or small issues in the game. In particular, you may have issues if running the App on an old phone.
