For larger groups who still want to dine like a local, Lunattic Salou also serves a huge range of tapas and sharing meals laced with Spanish cuisine.

Of course, Spanish food isn’t to everyone’s tastes -but thankfully the touristy areas of Salou take care of that for you! Brits have been enjoying the sun in Salou for centuries, and this has opened up a ton of different restaurants to consider, including British dining. First up is Danny Boy, this Irish bar can provide you with some live music, food, drink you name it! You will find so many locals and tourist all heading out to enjoy themselves in this bar. Another amazing place is just off the coastline, Bar Casa Paco. If you are after some cocktails, outdoor seating and a place for a dance you won’t need to head anywhere else but here.

If you are looking for a traditional Spanish bar, try out La Luz del Faro. A Spanish bar that has some outdoor seating, food and some amazing cocktails. It’s the perfect place to head if you want to mix with the locals and have some fun.

Clubs

What better way to end the night out than with a trip to one of the amazing nightclubs in Salou. Depending on what type of night out you are after depends on where you will be planning on heading. The biggest and best nightclub to head to is Pacha. Although it’s just outside of Salou it’s definitely worth the trip. The Pacha nightclub in Salou is the biggest in the entire world and if that’s not a good enough reason to visit we don’t know what is. If you are wanting something a little bit more central, try out Kiss. With a variety of music playing throughout the week from local artists and DJ’s you and the girls will be able to enjoy a celebration here.

Another great place is somewhere that is known as being Salou’s flagship disco since the 1960s. Flashback Nightclub is an amazing venue for dancing until the early hours with some amazing music to go with. They also have events that run throughout the year.

How to Get Around Salou

Conveniently, Salou has it’s very own Rues Airport so you can fly straight to the municipality ready to celebrate! While you’re here, the Spanish location is pretty small and easy to explore on foot from the centre, down to the coastline and throughout so you can discover all the nooks and crannies. If you’re feet are tired or you’re sporting high heels, the cheapest way to travel is probably by bus. The bus company Plana runs all the bus routes around Salou, and you can buy 10 trips for under 10 euros at different ‘tobacco shops’ around Salou to save even more money.

If you’re organising a trip to Salou as a stop over or want a daytrip somewhere new, Salou also has it’s own train station so you can venture outside of the municipality. The train can take you to places like Barcelona for a cheap fare, and they run all day long so you could be there and back in a jiffy! For late night exploring and when you’re taking advantage of the Salou’s fantastic nightlife, we highly suggest you catch a taxi. Taxis roam around all the day and evening, with green lights on the roof when they’re free to call over.
