What You Will Need to Play Prosecco Pong

• Enough prosecco to go around
• 12 plastic prosecco glasses or plastic cups
• A ping pong ball
• A fairly long table

How to Play Prosecco Pong

Playing prosecco pong is heaps of fun and coming to terms with how to play the popular drinking game isn’t difficult. Split the girls into two teams (ideally equal teams) and line up six cups at either end of the table in a 3-2-1 triangle formation which points in the direction of the opposing team. Fill each glass up with some tasty bubbly so they are each about half full.

All that’s left to do is take it in turns to throw the ping pong ball and land it in the opposing teams’ cups. Whichever cup the ping pong ball lands in, a member of the opposing team has to down the contents of the glass. Carry on playing until one team’s glasses are all empty! If you want another round, all you have to do is re-fill and get aiming again.

Prosecco Pong Rules

There aren’t many rules when it comes to prosecco pong, other than what is needed in order to make a team victorious. The basic rules are to get a ping pong ball into a cup, which then triggers a member of the other team to drink its contents. The team which clears the six cups first wins.

You can spice up this drinking game however you like. There’s a debate about whether the ping pong ball can be thrown directly into a cup or whether it has to do a singular bounce of the table first in order to count, so we will leave that up to you to decide. To tailor the game to fit a hen do, why not write some funny dares or challenges on the bottom of the cups, so whoever drinks has to then complete the dare or challenge written on the cup?
