Where did the Haka Originate?
The Haka is an ancient dance of the New Zealand Maori that was used traditionally to prepare a war party for battle. Usually it was performed either on the battle field before meeting with the enemy or as the war party was leaving their own village. The purpose of the Haka was to intimidate enemies.
Why do New Zealand All Blacks Rugby do the Haka?

After all the purpose is to prepare for war or in this case, prepare for the match!
