Nothing brings the lads together quite like some good food. So, make sure the stag do is full of amazing food with some of the amazing places to eat in Sheffield. Whether you’re after a cool coffee house, innovative restaurant or some delicious street food, you will be able to find it all in Sheffield city centre.

You may be surprised by the sheer number of places to eat in Sheffield, but you’ll easily be able to keep the guys fed all weekend long! Head to Ego Mediterranean Restaurant & Bar for all your mezze and tapas. This light and airy restaurant is a great place to head for a delicious meal. For a bite to eat during lunch try out Couch. An industrial style venue with a mellow vibe, couches and amazing drinks and food.

Ashoka Indian Restaurant can provide you with all of your classic curry dishes. Inside this Indian restaurant you will be able to enjoy a variety of different amazing dishes. And if you aren’t sure what cuisine you are after then COSMO World Buffet is the place to head. If all else fails, you can always treat yourself to a greasy kebab or pizza on your wat back to the hotel!

West Street

If you’re looking for an easy place to navigate that pretty much hosts all the things you need for a stag night, West Street is where you should check out first and foremost. The pubs are aplenty, the bars are atmospheric, and you’ll even be able to get your hands on a greasy kebab before bed!

In the North of the city centre is West Street, here you will find a variety of different venues all perfect for weekends no matter what kind of group you are. The Cavendish is a bar that offers pub food and live TV sports throughout the week, and really lights up at the weekend with friendly faces and cheap pints just waiting for your arrival.

Players Bar is a bar/nightclub that has VIP lounges that you can book along with regular DJ’s. For something slightly different Steinhaus might take your fancy (who doesn’t want to dance on the tables with some classic German tunes), or just across the road you can find Walkabout, an Australian themed bar that’s as rowdy as your party group.

Rockingham Street & Lane

Rockingham Street goes right from Broad Lane at the top of Sheffield to The Moor where you’ll find all the shops. It’s also just off of West Street, so if you’re looking for a challenge you can probably hit both in one night!

Throughout the street and lane, you will find different nightlife options that might take your fancy but our two favourites are Bungalows & Bears, a modern pub that is located inside a former fire station that has cask ales behind the bar and a burger menu (the perfect pre night out meal) and Soyo, a nightclub that is great for groups with sofas, bother and a dance floor inside!

Getting Around Sheffield

Sheffield is compact so walking and cycling within the city is a good option to see the sights and reach wherever you want to get to. A few bus services also operate within the city and would probably need to be used at some point to get to certain activities.

Aside from buses, you can use the tram throughout the city during the day time, which is easy to use and can take you all around Sheffield if you’re looking for an unofficial tour of the area. After dark, we highly suggest getting a taxi to one of the main areas and then you can tackle the night by foot.
