What is a Drumming Event?
This Drumming event will have you all taking part in learning how to play the drums thanks to your own expert rhythm facilitator. You will learn all the basic skills & rhythms that are needed to build your own amazing percussion orchestra. And the best part about it is that there is no musical experience needed so everyone can get involved. You will be guided through this extremely entertaining and empowering experience and will have a rhythm to perform together on the drums.

Event Format
On the day, the event will begin with a short introduction from your activity hosts explaining how the event will run. They will then bring out a variety of drums of different sizes before assigning one to each of you.
During the event, your enthusiastic hosts will teach you a series of beats and rhythms that you’ll get to practice and perfect for the duration of the class. With different sections of the room being assigned to a different rhythm or beat, participants will eventually bring everything they’ve learnt together for one final performance routine at the end of the event.

How Will the Drumming Team Event Work on the Day?
You will have a drum facilitator with you on the day who will teach you everything you need to know. You will all be given a type of drum and then you will each learn different rhythms and beats that you will have to remember and put together until your whole group can get involved and you have completed the whole rhythm! And then at the end of the session you will have a final team performance.
What is the Duration?
The duration of the drumming team event can vary but it typically lasts from 30 minutes to the whole day depending on your group size.
How Many People Can Participate in the Drumming Session?
The Drumming session is completely flexible and can cater for group sizes that go from 5 people to 5000 people!
