Since opening in 1994, Thompsons Garage Belfast, tucked away beside Belfast City Hall, has been putting on amazing club nights every night of the week. Regularly featuring guest DJs on Friday nights, you can dance the night away here ‘til the early hours whilst listening to a great mix of house, electronic and club anthems. Whether you prefer to be right in the middle of it all on the spacious dancefloor or watching the party unfold from the balcony above, this is a great place to have a big night out.

2. Kremlin
The biggest and most popular gay club in the city, Kremlin Belfast, as the name suggests, is a Soviet-themed nightclub that boasts three distinct and atmospheric rooms. With a split-level club area, a split-level disco bar and a cocktail lounge, there’s plenty of choice when it comes to finding a vibe that suits you in this spacious venue, which has continuously expanded since opening in 2004. This venue also brings in some huge guests including big names from the 80s all the way up to the stars of Rupaul’s Drag Race!

3. Ollie's Belfast
Situated in the former bank vaults of the Merchant building is Ollie’s Belfast, a stylish and atmospheric underground bar & nightclub that’s known for its sophistication. Split into separate rooms, there’s plenty of space to explore in this 500 capacity venue. The venue boasts of regular visits from celebrities and VIPs to its club which you can enjoy for yourself on a Friday, Saturday or Monday.

4. Limelight
With different themed club nights throughout the week, Limelight Belfast is a huge venue that boasts four unique and atmospheric club spaces. The club’s main space features a huge dancefloor and stage which has hosted bands like The Strokes and Blur since opening in 1984. One of these spaces is the Rock Garden, Limelight’s impressive rooftop terrace that’s perfect for taking a break from all that dancing you’ll be doing!

5. Club LUX
A popular dance and nightclub in Belfast, that certainly gets the party started. Situated in Belfast's Cathedral Quarter, this venue is one of the coolest places to party in the city. With a quirky yet stylish interior, this club boasts a large dancefloor where you can dance away through the night. Popular with students, this lively bar offers excellent budget-friendly drinks!

6. Voodoo
The well-known and popular Voodoo Belfast is a two-floor venue that doubles up as both a great place to eat and a great place to party! Hosting some of the best upcoming bands in the city in the downstairs bar area. Upstairs is the nightclub space that plays everything from house to drum n bass. The venue itself is open every day, but stays open extra-late for the club nights through the weekend… so we’d definitely recommend heading down here if you’re visiting on a Friday or Saturday!

7. Alibi
Dedicated to hosting some of the best DJs from the Ibiza and Marbella nightlife scene, Alibi Belfast in the Queens Quarter of the city is a modern and stylish venue that covers two floors. Upstairs, you’ll find the nightclub area that hosts some of the best Friday and Saturday club nights in the city. Downstairs you’ll find the cocktail bar area, as well as a large smoking area outside covering three floors. If you’re looking for a little slice of the Balearic clubbing scene in the middle of Northern Ireland… this is it.
